Songs that remind you of the Weyrs/Characters

(I've been meaning to make this for a while, because I've had this song stuck in my head, but no one on Youtube had it up where I could share. So I made a video and posted it on my Youtube page!)

Anyway, does anyone ever hear a bit of music and automatically think of the Weyr or someone's character? Well, I have one song that always makes me think of Dark Mists Weyr, and I just have to share it with you.

It's called "Lord Faa, King of the Gyptians", and it's from The Golden Compass soundtrack. I personally think it sounds really dark and murky in the beginning, almost sinister-like. That's what makes me think of DMW. Enjoy! Also, definitely post if you have other songs in mind.

Well for one of my favorite characters - Ryka the eternal Candidate - I had a couple songs I associated with her.

Especially the section of the song where the overall feeling is changed ("Are you gunna run away?" etc.)

Also this one by Switchfoot. Softer side of her. She suppressed her emotions a lot.

I liked "Live Out Loud" by Steven Curtis Chapman for T'ka of Bronze Lorneth because of his general early life awakening to "How great life is".

For D'las, it was "This is Home" by Switchfoot because he ended up moving Weyrs from RMW to ISW.

Other than that I just associate a lot of classical music I've preformed with either life, dragons or something about the Weyr here. Like Jupiter by Holst was my favorite "festival and dragons celebrating by flying" piece for a long time.

I suppose I should mention this because it is relevant. We all remember R'le? Yeah, I didn't exactly base him on this song, but I might as well have for how well it fits him.

I've been wondering what song I thought of when I think of Rainbow Mists Weyr, and I think I've found one that sort of matches with what I've been considering. If you don't like new age music, sorry! This is "Caribbean Blue" by Enya, and it kind of makes me think of flying with your dragon on a warm, summery day. ^.^
