So I went back through my notes to close up the Hatching and save them. (I actually noticed I was missing a dragon so I added in a Blue to a post so the numbers would line up). Here are the stats! I only counted Candidates who were posted in the Hatching thread. I know we have more in the character section.

Color Tweaks

Considering some of these stats, I know I said I'd been wanting to tweak a few of the (Dragon Gender/Candidate Gender) guidelines in Dragon Colors. A lot of the current dragons are virtually either (X/X) or (E/E). Please make suggestions for non-canon color modifications here, and add your thoughts if any, please!

NPC Weyrling Profiles

Here are the dragonets that Impressed to NPCs. I was hoping to have small bios for them so that new members who want to RP a weyrling could have a pool of options to choice from. They don't need to be as long as in the Hatching thread, but a few quick things would be nice. The number next to the color indicates from which egg they hatched.

If you want to do one, please give them a name, name pronunciation, adult size and general 'about' section. These will likely be edited between submission and site publication.

Name: Rocedith (Roe – seed- ith)
Color: DarkBlue (f)
Dragon Personality: Rocedith is a bit of a pessimist. She is very aware of things that inconvenience her or stand in her way. It makes her very aware of problems, even those others might not notice. With a little help she could become a great problem solver, but on her own is too moody to get anything done. To hers she is an open book, and her emotions are very easy to see. Despite seeing the worst in everything she tries not to be a bother to others, even if she is in a mood. If she isn’t in the way she will just sit down and have a sulk when things get too much for her.
Adult size: 24 feet

Name: Sigoth (Sig –oth)
Color: Grey
Dragon Info: Sigoth is like any Grey in the fact he picks up his rider’s emotions exceedingly well. Rather then picking up on negative emotions and getting depressed, they drain him, making him lethargic. He can get overwhelmed easily, often wanting to get a nap away from people and dragons to recharge. However, he can pick up the very beginnings of frustration or sadness, so that with a friendly nudge he can prevent a lot of heavy emotions from bogging a person down.
Adult Size: 18 feet

Egg 22:
Name: Gillath (Gill-lath)
Color: DarkBlue (m)
Adult size: 25 feet
Quick description: Gillath is a deep navy blue that looks almost black, but the webbing of his wings is lighter by one or two shades. He is intelligent, but has trouble finding words to express himself, and he doesn’t like to do anything without having time to think through it first — he doesn’t want to make a mistake and mess things up. In short he’s earnest and sincere, but unsure of himself.

Egg 10:
Name: Earendith (eh-ah-ren-dith)
Color: Blue
Adult size: 28.5 feet
Quick description: Earendith listens carefully to what others say, and gives them the benefit of the doubt. He is uninterested in leading, but choosy about whom he follows and once he gives his loyalty it stays given until death. Those who have his loyalty may command him to do anything and he will attempt it, trying until he succeeds. He is disinterested in the time that tasks take, measuring time’s passage only in the relative form of how much was accomplished that day.

I feel like Woods should be given to either gender, because they are the only vegetarian dragons and maybe some guys are vegetarians? xD I feel like that is more defining of their choice than gender, though if I remember right they don't *have* to Impress to vegetarians.
Egg 21 - Wood Meuplunth
*Impresses to a male*
Name: Mow-pelun-th
Color: Wood
Dragon Info: For a Wood, Meuplunth sure is picky. That is to say, she isn't a vegetarian, she's a vegan. She won't eat anything with gluten in it, especially not cookies. She despises those. How can she expect to maintain her girlish figure and clean teeth if she were to eat unhealthy foods all the time? In fact, Meuplunth's favorite snack is bark, peeled from only the best trees she can find. After all, there sure are a lot of trees, right? To live near the Jungle, for her, is to live in heaven. She loves the jungle with all of her heart and frequently in her adulthood will be adventurous enough to explore a vast amount of it- or maybe even as a youngling, stirring up some trouble!

This dragonet is choosy, and as such her Mine would be particularly male, as she feels females would clash much too much with her personality. And indeed they will, because she can be rather blunt about appearances. She loves to offer advice to make her Mine's appearance more acceptable to the opposite sex, making sure he always looks his best so that he can attract a mate. She hopes to do the same when she finally Rises, her first of which will start a little late, but deserved all the same. But the males will have to be careful, she's fast, maneuverable, and most of all, only the most special dragon-sire in the Weyr will have her! Her choice of 'healthy' eating will mean she will grow to be a full 21 feet in her adulthood.

Egg 23 - Female Purple Laundcyth

Name: Lawn-deh-sith
Color: Purple
Dragon info: If energy were currency, Laundcyth would be fantastically rich. It's as if she never sleeps! The rider of this dragonet might get a pleasant surprise to find out she sleeps with her eyes completely open, and only for six hours a day - that's two less for the Rider during her weyrling years! Hopefully she might grow out of the habit of waking her Rider up for feeding, but even if that wasn't bad enough, if your character can't particularly get used to being stared at while trying to sleep, this might be even worse for them!

Regardless, Laundcyth is a lovable young lady, whom has the appetite of a dragon appropriate to her size, that is to say slightly below average. She will come in at a smaller 28.5 feet, later in life. She is dependable and always friendly, however at times she can ramble on for long periods. She's as sweet as pie, however, and is always kind and caring for those around her, especially sympathizing with her Rider and other dragons, as she knows what it's like to be a dragon, for sure. As she ages, she will mature, that is to say she will stop waking her Rider early in the morning, and remember to look the other direction or hide her face when she falls asleep. However, she also will develop a snoring problem, due to having an undersized nasal passage.

Egg 12

Name: Leernoth (Leer – noth)
Color: Jungle
Dragon Info: Leernoth is a timid dragon, and it makes him nervous around new people. Once he gets to know people it is not too frightening for him. He would rather be back with his mine then out and about though. He picks up facts about people amazingly well though. Even if someone has only mentioned it once he can bring up an odd tidbit. He is brilliant at putting names to faces, but loves stories most of all. He will be drawn to harpers and storytellers without fail and be the most patient of listeners. Once the tale is done, he will point out plot holes, but it does not make him enjoy it any less. If he was more outgoing he would be great at telling stories, but sadly lacks the charisma and the courage to do so.
Adult Size: 27 feet


Egg 19

Name: Winstrath (Win - str-ath)
Color: Green
Dragon Info: Winstrath is a happy green and very direct in her emotions. She does not understand people when they beat around the bush or hide feelings. It makes her a bit dense when it comes to emotions but it makes her a very honest dragon. When given a goal she will plow right into it, and is not a procrastinator. She loves affection, and will seem like a puppy in her first few months, following hers in hopes of getting some scritches or a rub. Even when she becomes a full grown dragoness, a friendly pat or rub will make her day. When giving affection herself, she will nudge people and try to give them rubs with her snout.
Adult Size: 20 feet

Egg 24

Name: Chatorth (Cha-tor-th)
Color: Black (m)
Dragon Info: Chatorth is very blunt. He will not sugar coat anything unless her gets proper training in the area. If he likes some aspect of someone, he will not be shy in his praise and likewise he has no filter for his criticism. He will often tell his thoughts to whoever will listen in the area, making him seem obnoxious. However, he has a knack for perception, noticing things out of place that few do. If he finds something odd, he will say so, and rarely he will say it for nothing. As he gets older he will become a brilliant choice for watching a hold or searching candidates. His favorite time of day is sunrise, and will always be up to see it. His mine must take care because if not given instruction this black might just become entirely nocturnal.
Adult Size: 30 feet

Name: Picosith
Name Pronunciation: [Peh-cos-ith]
Adult Size: 20 Feet
Dragon Info: Picosith is a petite wood, though her appearance is otherwise similar to most that of any other wood. What's remarkable about her is her eye for color. Oh she loves color.. and more than that she loves matching colors and admiring how they compliment one another. Beware, though, if anything disturbs the object that has caught her attention. She will not be a happy dragon and will hold a grudge for a long time after she's forgotten why she is mad. Which, by the way, is significantly longer than most other dragons. Her rider can expect to impress a fair of firelizards if they don't really want to because firelizards are colorful and Picosith just loves trying to attract the one that will give her rider the most eye pleasing fair in the Weyr.

Name: Litinoth
Name Pronunciation: [Lit-eh-noth]
Adult Size: 13 feet
*Stands Impression to a Male at least two turns below traditional candidate age*
Dragon Info: Smaller than most whites, this little guy is fast, but has very little endurance. Don't let that bother you, though. He definitely makes up for it with his mind and his charisma. A very outgoing dragon, Litinoth will speak to anyone who will listen, whether they be human, dragon or firelizard. He's also very smart and strives to learn new things. He's got a unique ability among dragons to retain memories for years rather than forgetting them in days. Did I mention that over time he might find he can move objects with his mind? It's all dependent on how much he's able to experiment.. And he loves to experiment.

Name: Alminnath
Name Pronunciation: [All-min-nath]
Adult Size: 32 Feet
*Impressed to an easily embarrassed female*
Dragon Info: She will be large for a black, but not greatly so. Her personality is larger, though. She as flashy as flashy can be... and not just because that's who she is, though that's part of it, but also because she knows how it embarrasses her rider. Now don't mistake this for malice. Really, she thinks that with enough exposure her rider will get used to it and may even come to like the attention it sometimes garners the two of them.

While the 'to Candidate' additions are interesting, they will be made an optional part of dragonet profiles. Adding both Rider and dragon to a bio is essentially making a whole NPC pair, whereas Hatching dragonet bios are meant to be open ended prompts for anyone who wants a weyrling who missed the Hatching, decides to adopt a weyrling, etc. So to recap, the suggestions are okay, but will not be required from adopters (especially in some cases as with Stands Impression or outside of Candidacy age, which can require marks).

Egg 26

Name: Okurath (Oak – ku – wrath)
Color: Green
Dragon Info: Okurath is a bit of a handful. She loves seeing new things and will drag people off on adventures to see everything without thinking about the time or other things she is supposed to be doing. By the time she grows up it probable that she will know every square inch of the Weyr, and will love to show people around it. She had a good sense of direction and latches on to places that she likes. When people get to know her and hers, she will often take them to places she loves as a way of showing how she thinks of them as friends. It doesn’t take much to make Okurath happy, and it takes a lot to bring her down.
Adult Size: 22
