Appearance: Kokoro's most noticeable feature is her chestnut brown hair that falls in natural corkscrews to her shoulders. She often has it tied back with a ribbon, but allows it to frame her face when attending a Hatching. Next is her startling grey eyes. They are dark enough to be mistaken for an extremely light blue. Her skin is tanned to an elegant olive tone, from the hours working the fields. Her hands are calloused and hard, also from the hours working the fields. Her lips are a pale pink in contrast with the rest of her, showing her true lineage from lighter-skinned Pernese. She is slender, with curvy hips, but only beginning to show signs of womanhood elsewhere. She is tall, standing at just under 6 feet, and weighing at about 140 pounds. Many say her light form is due to the farmwork she does often.
Personality: Kokoro seems absent-minded and air-headed, but she in truth is just not one to get angered easily. She is in fact rather smart, which tends to surprise others who think they know her. She is a loyal girl, but it is not easy to get into her heart. She wears a mask over her true self, waiting for the ones who will find their way past her walls and into her heart. She is a happy-go-lucky girl at times, usually when asked to do something for someone else.
Kokoro surprises almost everyone she meets. She is willing to listen, and most assume that she is simply unfit for a leadership position. To them, Kokoro appears too complacant to be able to take charge. However, Kokoro is willing and able to assume a leadership position. When she does, her absent-minded demeanor vanishes completely, and is replaced by what seems to be a new soul. The difference is so incredible that the few times she's had to take charge, there were no resistors or complaints. However, that was attributed mostly to shock at seeing this relatively lost-looking girl take charge so well.
History: Kokoro was born in Golden Flight Hold, and was raised normally as the daughter of farmers. She was rather absent-minded from the day she could toddle, but she was often seen playing with other Hold children. She made friends relatively easily, or seemed to anyway. None of those who called her their friend really knew her though.
At eight Turns old, Kokoro Apprenticed under her parents in the fields. She took her time doing her work, and could often be found in the fields after that. She found herself drawn to the fields for the tranquility they held. Between working hours, that is. A lot of her idle time was spent hiding amongst the wheat, or sitting between cornstalks.
She was twelve when she saw her first dragon. A single green, it had come to Search for Candidates with her rider. She was amazed at the size of the dragon, and after that began studying the other types of dragons.
At fifteen, Kokoro was Searched by a dragonrider from Rainbow Mists. By this time, Kokoro had learned about all known types of dragons, but knew only a few well. Her favorite, she decided, was the Silver that she noted was a lot like herself. Quiet, rarely agitated, and good leadership. However, she was left standing at the last Hatching. She didn't regret it, however, as the last Hatching produced no Silvers.
Kokoro was at the Hatching of the first Aurora of Rainbow Mists just after turning seventeen. The smallest egg cried out to her, and she ran onto the Sands, Impressing to the little White within the egg.
Just two weeks before her eightteenth Turnday, Kokoro Impressed another Flit, a little Grey-Black one whom she named Dusk.

She is loyal to Kokoro, and will stand up for the both of them whenever anyone insults them. She tends to tire quickly, usually falling asleep in strange places.
