Updated with names so far. I have to admit, I was surprised that the translations I discovered for Cait and Kaya were the same...

Well, it took some creativeness to come up with... Although I think Simile was actually the hardest.

Well, the first step is to come up with what they mean. Baby names websites are useful here, but sometimes you just have to type it in to google and hope. If that doesn't return a meaning, then you have to pick names that are similar in sound/spelling and go from there.

Once you have the meaning, you look it up in the english-quenya dictionary (a 2.76 Mb word document), and hopefully it is translated there. If it is not, you go with long sentences that mean the same thing as the name and translate them. For instance, if I remember right, the name here for "Simile" is something along the lines of "words compared as" or "words like words".

Or you can go with words that sound like the name. like Terayne went Terayne --> Terrain --> big ground/big earth.
