Appearance: The first noticeable piece of Moraiya's appearance has to be her hair, as it flows like golden water and traces her face before moving off to either side to drape over her shoulders. She usually keeps the back of it tied up to expose her neck to the sun, as the warmth comforts her and she enjoys having a tan complexion. She has a pronounced bottom lip that gives her a rather pretty smile, and she favors greens or reds as far as clothing goes. Most of the time she can be found wearing a set of tight leathers that cling to her thin, tall frame, her 5'10" build rather tall for her gender, which allows her to loom over Candidates rather easily. She also favors a longcoat, which reaches to her ankles, and is bright red with blood-red trim. Several medals cling to the lining in various places, commendations of her excellent service to two Weyrs. Her eyes are a vibrant blue, casting a sharp contrast to her lighter hair.
Personality: Moraiya is a hot-head by nature, and is quick to temper though she is great at controlling it. There was a time when she would chew just about anybody's head off, however her maturing as a Rider and her ability to hold her role as Candidate Master are now unparalleled. She never goes out of line or breaks rules, and she is very determined to show the rest of the Weyr that the Dark Dragon she rides is really not so evil, though the stigma left over from the War does still effect her, just as everyone else. She becomes frustrated easily, but has a few measures to calm herself, and is a devoted non-violent person, however she will still punch out anybody who deserves it. She is very overprotective of the Candidates in her care, and several times she has protected Candidates from Threadfall with her own body, which left a few scars here and there on both her and her dragon. The pair are often secluded, and never open up about their history at Southern Weyr.
History: Moraiya was Searched from Benden Hold and hails from Southern Weyr, originally, though several scenarios happened which left her banished from the place, namely when her dragon went berserk and slaughtered a green and her Rider. Ever since that day, Zojiroth has regretted his actions, and she, being the only one who can truly understand him, knows it would never happen again. The original circumstances that caused the incident were unjust in the first place, after all. The Green's rider had physically assaulted her (the actual reason he did this is only known to Moraiya), and Zojiroth, unable to strike the Rider at first, went for the dragon. The Green fought back, and the tussle didn't last long, the fight was broken up by a bronze, who didn't know what was happening with Moraiya. When the greenrider continued by beginning to beat Moraiya out of hate, was when Zojiroth entered a blood frenzy, severely wounding the Bronze and completely murdering the Green. The dragon's rider, severed from his dragon and now in anguish, stumbled outside from the Caverns he had been in with the girl, and while Moraiya tried to calm Zojiroth, it was futile until he exacted vengeance, ending up goring the Greenrider to death. For her crimes, she was exiled and made into a rogue rider. It was a few Turns before she was able to find a new Weyr who would allow her in, and she found acceptance at Rainbow Mists, after explaining her predicament to the powers that be.

Dragon's Appearance: Zojiroth is an average sized Blood dragon, at just under 34 feet, with a hand-smaller wingspan and larger talons than most dragons possess. He looks incredibly menacing, his hide is the color of deep blood, with swirling batches of lighter reds circling his face and shoulders and the ends of his limbs. His eyes are usually a distrusting yellow, however they tend to fade back to normal colors when he is alone with Moraiya. The coloration of his hide has led several people to question whether or not he has actual blood on his hide at certain times, though he never actually does, as he prefers to be completely clean.
Dragon's Personality: Zojiroth is incredibly distrusting of just about everybody who isn't Moraiya, and thus has no friends. Most dragons stay away from him, and while he wishes he did have a few pals to pal around with, he often finds his Rider's encouragement not enough, as most dragons do not accept him as anything less than a murderous Dark Dragon. In combat, he loses himself, and blacks out until whatever it is he is after is dead, and only an Iron or a proficient royal dragon is capable of stopping him. His fierce determination stems from this and applies to everything in his life, whatever this dragon sets his mind to, he accomplishes. Except making friends, of course. Zojiroth plays rough, and tends to end up hurting all but the biggest dragons when he "plays". He is competitive and violent-tempered, and possesses an idea of how he thinks dragons should act, the tenets of which are often violated easily by all dragons, even him. But he defends this notion with the fact that they aren't treating him the way he should be treated, so he returns the favor. Moraiya believes that if he were to be treated like any other non-Dark color, he would be much happier and calmer, but their experiences with hate have left him bitter and cold.
Dragon's History: Zojiroth was born to one of the Queens from Rainbow Mists that were transferred to Southern during one of the Weyrs periods of having too many Queen colors, and the one chosen to be sent to Southern was a particularly ill-tempered Gold who often provoked the others into fights. It was thought that this was what gave birth to Zojiroth's rage, and so even in his younger years the Southern Riders were rather mean to Moraiya and Zojiroth. Most of them ridiculed her for her Impression to a Blood, and those that didn't, simply held bystander apathy and never lifted a finger to help her. Because of this, the pair is very independent and unsociable. They transferred to Rainbow Mists shortly after the murder of the Green and her Rider. The pair rarely talk about what happened in their past.
