The emblem may have been Bendan, but the bulk of the paperwork was from Fort. Not that N'rel knew exactly what was written there anyway. The Bronzerider had only spent three sevendays at Bendan, just long enough for a Flight and for him to decide he didn't like the place. It also wasn't long enough for him to fully understand the heated tensions between them and Rainbow Mists. He didn't care to learn the details of such frivolous political drama anyway. A big waste of time for all involved. His eyes narrowed slightly at the Weyrleader's sudden interest in the papers. It was the Weyrwoman's duty to deal with new Riders, what business was it of his? That thought did not keep a slight smile from tugging at the corner of N'rel's mouth, since the short order and swift action of T'kar did impress him a little. A man who did things instead of just talking about it was a good man in N'rel's book. Speaking of action...
"I am fine wherever you need me, be it Wingleader, Second, or simply Rider. Nysquailth and I are flexible as long as we can keep busy." He sounded quite unenthused with the whole situation; his deep voice stayed rather monotone as he spoke. He had expected to simply return to Fort, not be passed off to another Weyr because 'they needed him more.'
"Also, I will be getting my son from Bendan tomorrow and bringing him here. He is a Candidate, not really good for much, but I don't care for him being there any longer. M'ver and Zinana are overloaded on Candidates and kept saying you would need him more, so they won't take him." N'rel shrugged and looked over at Artemis for the first time. He cocked his head to the side to mirror her and locked eyes with the Junior Weyrwoman. "And you are...?" It came out irritated, but he was simply curious. The man just didn't know how to be polite. And didn't care to learn.
