Appearance: H'rarn has dark black hair set against ashen miners’ skin. With his firm set face and sturdy nose he blends right in with all the other miners around. His hazel eyes with their browns and greens are dulled in color, muted like the landscape around the mining camp. He stands at a sturdy 6’ 1”. H'rarn is slightly muscled from his precursory work in the mines. He prefers simple, comfortable and clean clothes. (Playby: Dylan O'Brien)
Personality: H'rarn is a simple lad from a simple town. Nothing is really complicated about mining life or its people. Like many others, Holt is a study, calm force that wavers only under the strongest of pressures. He keeps cool in a crisis but rarely takes up leadership roles. He believes that everyone can work out conflicts or troubles together. He’s quick to listen and slow to forget. Holt knows to listen to authority: it can save your life in the mines. Overall he’s an easygoing man without an agenda who just wants to live a nice life.

History: Holt is the only child of Hollarn and Melinna Jonsmint. The couple led a quiet life and had a quiet son, not to anyone’s surprise. Holt grew up in the mining camp near the Minecraft Hall outside of Dragon Ridge Hold. The children from the camp would go to the Hold for lessons from the harper and typically learned about their parents’ trade in addition to that. Holtrarn’s father was a miner and so he started to pick up the trade a tad too. The mines let him work in the safer, upper levels since he wasn’t fully grown yet and was still getting his strength. In his spare time Holtrarn liked to play ball with the other boys and girls about his age. There wasn’t much of a gender stigma around camp and children were expected to play with whomever was decent and kind to them. Because of this the ball games lent themselves to socialization at the same time in the relatively small community. Everyone knew just about everyone else. Holtrarn and a girl, Juleena, were a “couple” for a while and received good natured teasing from their friends. The youngsters didn’t last more than a month but they’ve remained amiable friends.
One of the rare days Holtrarn was in town at the Hold, a Search Rider - N'rim of DarkBlue Lakrinth - arrived on his journey back. Holt was selected for Candidacy at Rainbow Mists Weyr. His parents were agreeable to the idea so long as he wrote every now and then and came home if he didn’t Impress. After a pair of loving hugs, Holtrarn packed his bags and set out for the next chapter of his life.
Holt was quick to make friends with the boy, Kalitar, who was Searched at the same time. They attended the Weyr Games together, though Kalitar's idea of a cool trick was nothing short of a dangerous stunt to Holt. Nevertheless, they remain an unlikely pair of friends.
A month and a half after residing at the Weyr, Holtrarn stood for Gold Archith's first Hatching. He Impressed a Blue named Korith who was quite level headed like himself. He likes his honorific, H'rarn, just fine, though his friends still call him Holt.

Dragon's Appearance: Korith has a smooth and even hide just light enough of a deep blue to truly be a Blue dragon. He is 26 feet from point to point and is a rather well put together, if unremarkable, adult dragon.
Dragon's Personality: Korith keeps things in and consciously selects what parts of his thoughts and self he is comfortable sharing with others. He is highly in tune with the sentiments of those around him and attaches memories and feelings to specific locations, which he will relive if he visits them. He is very aware of time and its passage.
