For the few days that he'd had him, Cyrus that was, K'rill honestly, couldn't figure him out. Not in the slightest. The little Firelizzard wanted food. Or wanted to play. Or wanted to creel, all things he was allowed to do without too much restraint. K'rill did restrain his intake of food though. No sense in fattening him up just yet. k'rill figured that, if he ate too much, the little guy just might pop..literally.
So, it was that he came to the inner Weyr, specifically seeking out someone who could help him control his flitt a little more. Of course, Junith's thoughts did not go unsaid, on the matter, "This little one is alot like me. Perhaps I was wrong, K'rill love, I...I am sorry for that. He seems very confident, like us. You have..made a wise choice in Impressing him, I think. K'rill said nothing at the time, and continued to merely nod. It took alot for Junith to admit she was wrong..about anything. She seemed happy to have the smaller dragon around. Anything that made her happy was a good thing.
Rumor had held that there was a blind Flitt Trainer somewhere here, and K'rill was determined to find him or her. Cyrus, or Cy as K'rill called him for short and ease sometimes, was creeling happily and squeaking on top of his shoulder. He'd recently fed the little guy. Following along behind him, and sometimes beside him was Junith.
She questioned,"MINE? Has your confidence in your ability to train our little Cyrus wavered such that you seek out this..trainer? Why are we here? Why are we frolicking by the sea? or studying something? K'rill thought back sharply, That's quite enough my love. My confidence has taken no blow. I am simply trying to squire the basic skills on which I can advance when it best suits me. Why have a flitt if I cannot care for it?
Junith replied,"oh. I see. Well, I suppose that makes sense. I shall play lookout then. Call me, my love, if you should need me." and with that, she turned out and laid down, right there in the middle of the room into which they'd entered and gave everyone present a contemptuous look.
K'rill ventured into the dining room and looked around for this flitt trainee some more. Spying her, he remarked,"Hello there! you may recall me from the Hatching of the Flitts not too many days ago? K'rill, rider of Black Junith? I certainly hope so. I come to you with a simple request. Teach me how to properly care for my Midnight, whom I have called Cyrus or Cy, for short. In return...in return, I will give you something..I'm not sure whet it is yet, but you will be compensated for your services." Yes, because to K'rill, money and rewards talked. They said alot, if one was willing to just listen...
