The two Impressions were watched intently, Sunlance to a girl, Neon(because he was too garishly bright to be anything else) Purple to a boy. She didn't recall the girl's name right off the bat-she THOUGHT it was Wynah?- but she knew the boy's. Barlow had been around for some time, and she'd seen him a couple times when visiting the Weyr from the Hall. However...
Her attention focused, becoming tight and sharp as the gold egg began to shimmer brighter, or seemed to, and also began to fall apart in shards. She shifted her stance some so she could more thoroughly see what was happening, her focus laser tight, eyes narrowing some as she caught sight of the hide hue. Not dark, or garishly multi-colored. Not a Rainbow or Abyss then. A silvery blue shade, so not Gold either. Blue.... Blue.... Blue.... Oh.....
The Records she'd read so many of sprang back to her, and she strangely enough leaned forwards, far more interested now than she'd seemed up until that point. She had to consciously stop her feet from moving, wanting to get a closer look at the little one, her Harper need to KNOW shooting to the fore. Oh she wanted to look so BADLY! But the need to remain where she stood, to wait until the Azure had Chosen, held her in place.
But shards was it hard, when all she wanted was to KNOW....
The Sunlance Impressed, and Artemis slammed that out. Then the Neon Purple Impressed to Barlow - B'low - and she shut that out, though she was happy to see that the boy had Impressed. He had seemed nice enough.
Then the golden egg began to crack, and from her angle, Artemis could just barely see the hide inside. And then everything else didn't matter.
Because Azures were beautiful, and Azures were legendary, and Azures were - Azures were cursed. She knew the stories. Every Candidate did. Shards, every dragon-loving child in Pern did at this point. Riders of Azures always died, always. And Azures always avenged them, always.
Artemis stopped swaying, her heart pounding as she stared at the golden shell, the blue crack. That Azure's dragon would the luckiest rider in all of Pern - the rarest queen of them all! - and cursed at the same time. But what Artemis would give just to hear the little dragon's voice, to see what she was like.
Did she sound cursed, or like a normal dragonet? Did she carry herself like a Queen, or like a Copper ready to attack the moment her rider dropped dead? Or was she normal until she wasn't? Did she know she was cursed?
She was so wrapped up in her own thoughts and curiosities about the dragonet that she didn't notice the voices of the actual dragons fade to a buzz in the back of her head.
Another egg finally decided to hatch, revealing a curious looking dragon. A haze he believed, but it took him a moment to come to conclusion on the color it clouded. A Citrine then, hm? The first dragonet who could easily be predicted for the gender it would choose, thought it strangely enough seemed very keen on the male candidates. He shifted his concentration though, his learnings told him that she would soon move on. So that left him 4 options. The Sunlance, the blindingly bright Purple, the overeager Sunset, or whatever dragonet was lurking within the last of the non-queen eggs.
And then, before he knew it, two more of those possible dragonets that could have been His Impressed. The Sunlance who had been so worried about her clutchmates finally answered the call of her nature and approached one of the female candidates, her eyes whirring happily, even as the Neon Purple chose one of the other males, Barlow if memory served him right. It would be B'low now, yes? Regardless, that brought his possibilities down to two, and the panic began to creep in.
He was in luck this Hatching though, it seemed every time he felt on the verge of loosing it something attention catching made him forget. And this time it was the wobbling and cracking of the golden egg. He watched with mild curiosity, after all, he couldn't possibly Impress to a Queen. As the pieces fell away in an almost impossibly slow manner, he joined the masses in a gasp of air. Was that... it couldn't be... An Azure?! It certainly wasn't an ice, for this wasn't Ice Stone and it skin didn't have any variance in hue. He knew the implications of it's arrival just as well as any. his was certainly a very eventful Hatching.
---------------- K'ris
Axolzash crooned a greeting to the vulture Lifewing as she settled beside him. It has been very interesting indeed. An aggressive black, a Wood, and a DarkBlue have all Impressed already. He bobbed his head, returning his gaze to the hatchlings so as not to miss any details his rider might. He relayed their pair's arrival to his Rider, Mine says that if Yours has not found a place yet, he has a empty seat beside him.
K'ris glanced up at Axol and Kiyosh with a grin. It was good to see the rainbow of a bird finally making friends. Cr'wean is more than welcome next to me. He doesn't seem to be one to interrupt my note-taking. Below he heard more egg cracking and saw the hazed Citrine shake herself free of her shell. A Neon and a Haze in one clutch, and still a Queen egg to hatch? Certainly the Rainbow would be a Mother to watch the next time she Clutched. He was curious as the the Citrine's interest in the male candidates, as he could not recall one ever Impressing to anyone but a female. Then again that Purple had stat wondrously still for a great amount of time, so perhaps it would be similar with her.
Speaking of the purple... Ah, there he was. And seemingly ready to make his choice. The young Candidate Barlow, no, make that B'low, was now a Weyrling along side the peppy little dragon. And the Sunlance finally made her choice as well with a lovely young woman named Wynah. He jotted down those Impressions as well, looking up in time to see the Queen egg shudder and fall apart, almost as if in slow motion, revealing the last thing he had ever expected to see in his lifetime. He scrambled to catch the falling charcoal before rubbing his eyes and taking a closer look.
An Azure! By the Egg of Faranth, an Azure! I don't like this. This can not be a good sign. The Lifewing feathers ruffled uncomfortable, making his resemble a strangely-dyed puffball. I can't wait to get a closer look at her! K'ris exclaimed at the same time, on the edge of his seat. "I wish I had eyes like a Lifewing right now..." he muttered, barely able to contain his excitement.
"Feed your dragons slowly," L'ras advised, passing by the Black that practically inhaled his food.
"I know your dragons are hungry, but it's important they eat slowly. Can you all manage that? Too much food at one time, food eaten much too quickly, and they'll swallow a lot of air. You'll be up all night with an uncomfortable dragon, and trust me, you'll want to sleep well tonight. Pace yourselves with their feeding. Once they're satisfied, begin to oil them."
It wouldn't take long for the dragons and their new Riders to tire out; they were still young, and they had been born into much excitement. Oiling was much easier while they were still conscious.
He glanced up at the Sands from his position and watched the next round of hatchlings trot about the ring. The newest dragon to hatch appeared to be a curious color - a Black-haze Citrine. His lips set in a thin line as he reviewed what reading and experience provided. He hadn't encountered many hazes in his time as a Weyrling Master, but it was nothing he couldn't handle.
L'ras continued to walk around to the other new Weyrlings, observing each in turn, glancing up occasionally to the Sands as Teth alerted him to new Impressions. The pale Sunlance had finally selected Wynah. He smiled at the thought. It was a good pairing. And that intense Purple - it slid to a stop right before Barlow, its eyes spinning the tell-tale rainbow of Impression. Good, good. Everything was going as smoothly as could be expected.
He paced in a line alongside the feeding stations, waiting the arrival of the next wave of Weyrlings. To say he was eager to begin their lessons was the understatement of the Turn.
L'ras, look! Is -- Is that…?
From his spot near the entrance of the Sands, Teth shifted on his feet as he looked to the Queen egg. Nictitating membranes flickered over his eyes, and he rose up on his hind legs, his neck craned out for a better view. Anxiety and concern and awe practically radiated off of him.
L'ras hesitated, alarmed by the strong emotions coming from his dragon. He hardly ever worried. What is it? He looked out across the stretch of sand, past the hatchlings and their littered shells.
What do you…see…
"Oh," he breathed. There was no mistaking that color. The Queen was an Azure.
Is now the time to start believing in curses?
After examining the remaining Candidates, he turned back to the Weyrlings closest to him. He needed to keep busy. As much as he wanted to stop and stare - like he was certain everyone else was - he had his job to do, and no one else could do it better. And if the remainder of the Hatching went off without a hitch, he would have plenty of opportunity to view the Azure up close.

Wynah watched the other Candidates as they Impressed and walked off. She was nervous now. Only a few eggs... Then, she felt something strange. An unexplained hunger... A... A feeling of... Completion. Her heart swelled, but she couldn't understand it.
Hello Wynah. I am Alzdith. A voice... She looked down at the Sunlace dragoness, who's eyes were whirling rainbow colors. Wynah's eyes widened. She had Impressed! Now then... there is much for us to do. It is best that we get me fed and both of us taken care of and then we move on to take care of those that need us. She nudged Wynah gently and motioned towards the feeding tables.
"Of course," Wynah said with a nod. She picked up the Hatchling, turning just in time to see the Azure. She sighed softly, almost glad to be off the Sands now.
Mine, what is wrong? asked Alzdith.
"The Azure... The legends say that Azure dragons are cursed," Wynah said. "But that can wait. Let's get you fed." Wynah smiled and nodded as she heard L'ras tell the new Weyrlings, her among them, to feed the Hatchlings slowly. "Now, do as he says," she told Alzdith. She placed the dragoness down and began to let the Sunlace eat.
Wynah, I itch.
Wynah laughed softly. "Alright. I guess it's time to oil you, once you're done eating." Alzdith nodded as she ate. "Slowly, Alzdith!" The Sunlace reluctantly slowed her pace. She had to make sure she wasn't sick if she wanted to be able to help the others when she grew. She would listen to Hers. Hers had Alzdith's best interests at heart, of course. With how much Hers cared for others above herself, it was guaranteed that Wynah was thinking about what was best for Alzdith.
"Weyrling Master, is it possible for me to start oiling Alzdith soon?" Wynah asked him. She was beginning to feel the itching that Alzdith felt, her back primarily. Back and tail, though Wynah knew she didn't have a tail. It was a strange sensation, the phantom tail.

M’brey kept glancing down at Nellielth. She was, at birth, as long in the body as Karatos, and that didn’t include her head, neck and tail. Despite all the glances down, he knew the way to the feeding stations, and remembered the oft-repeated words regarding what to do upon Impressing.
By unspoken consent, M’brey and Nellielth walked over to a station a little ways removed from the Black. Nellielth was perfectly willing to eat slowly, and M’brey listened for instructions from L’ras while occasionally re-cutting up a piece of meat that was too large.
The Sunset dashed away from the males and through the females before coming to a quick skidding on top of the girl she had detected as being her own. Kaimana hissed beneath the claws. "Get off of me you over excited beast!" she shouted. The Suneset just tilted her head at hers and, in a very clear voice said, KaiMine! Stop it! I'm here for you! Your Tormoleth is here for you! I'll get off now so we can get me some food and then we can play and play and play and-
"Okay okay! That's enough!" Kaimana stood and dusted herself off before heading towards the feeding tables where she started to feed Tormoleth who was insistant on keep an eye on the others.
She wasn't the only one that was going to Impress at this moment as the irritated little black- haze citrine seemed to round on here bonded and charge right for him - yes him. She wasn't going to stop until she was standing over him, hissing.
It was Andradril who would be the unfortunate recipient of her claws as she glowered at him. It isn't fair for you to hide from your Koroth A'radril! She slowly got off of him and sat down, curling her tail around her claws, just looking at him. Well are you coming? Are you going to get up or just lay there and stare at me? I am hungry and I itch. Lets go now. She certianly could be bossy. But of cousre he had hidden from ehr so why wasn't she going to be upset!
She whipped her head around in time to hear a shattering sound as the Azure shook herself free of her shell, standing with her wings dripping in egg goop and spread for all to see. Her head was raised high with pride and her tail whipped slowly and sedately behind her. She turned to the last remaining egg on the sands. She would wait until the last of her siblings had Impressed... She walked over to it and crooned softly at the egg, looking back at her mother who gave her an approving nod. The Azure gently nuzzled the egg and almost seemed to sing to it... then cracks began to form slowly but surely, a small white tumbling out, her hide becoming sticky and covered in sand. The azure crooned softly and started to try to help clean her sibling. She would take care of them all. That was her duty after all. To make it all better for them. And she took it very seriously. The little white crooned and looked up at her, turning her head curiously before looking at those gathered and giving a startled little yelp and hiding behind her bigger sister who chortled softly. Their rainbow mother lowered her head and nuzzled them both, crooning softly to them. Yes. Her daughter was a very good one. She would be a great queen and mother someday.
Egg #6
Name: Koroth Pronunciation: coe-roe-ith Color: Black Haze Citrine (0c0c0c - a4a442 - fff952) Size: 16 feet Personality: Proud as the day is long, Koroth is what you would call the epitome of a Citrine. She loves to make others laugh while her hot headed nature can make her get a little carried away from time to time. She is beyond protective of A'dra and will be, likely, forever. She isn't afraid of a fight and considers herself as brave and noble as any king or queen, if not more so. She will forever support and look out for her rider - she will even back him in any kind of fight without a moment of hesitation. She will work hard and put her nose to the grind stone. She is highly possessive of her rider and dislikes it when that brown creature that used to share his mind and those memories are brought to the surface. This will make her angry and she will deal with that anger with tail twitching, snapping and most likely ignoring others. Impresses to: Andradil - A'radil
Egg #7
Name: Tormoleth Pronunciation: tore-mull-leth Color: Sunset (f57a01, f22929, fff600) Size: 23 feet Personality: Tormoleth is a playful, spunky and somewhat musical sunset. More accurately she tries to be musical, but she isn't particularly talented with notes. However, she does have the ability to dance and boy does she love it! She can't wait to learn to fly and use some of those moves in the air! She is way too playful to take anyone seriously for long, and this annoys Kaimana. While her rider is a perfectionist, Tormoleth is all about having fun and getting the most out of life. Impresses to: Kaimana
The Black-Haze Citrine Impressed. The Sunset Impressed. Artemis knew these things, just as she knew the sand beneath her feet was hot and that the back of her neck tickled.
Still, even as some of the other candidates pulled away from scratched candidates or murmured amongst themselves as the dragonets moved, Artemis couldn't take her eyes from the Azure. It wasn't even that she necessarily wanted it to Impress to her - okay, she did, she always had wanted a Queen, and there was no denying that - but her voice was just... so sweet. While her siblings climbed over each other and scratched at the arms of their Mines, the little Azure merely assisted the little White out of its shell.
She didn't sound cursed at all. Did she even know she was cursed? Artemis certainly wouldn't want to be the one to break it to her sweet little heart. Even her mother was proud of her, her kindness, her sweetness.
She would be an amazing Queen. Her Rider would be lucky indeed. And with her heart pounding in her chest, she tore her gaze away from the bright blue dragon to follow the White, to glance at the dragons leading the Sands. She stood perfectly still, unless you looked at her hands, which trembled against the white of her candidates robe.
Harpyr was silent as she watched the egg intently, as each gleaming shard fell away, further revealing the beautiful creature within. She wasn't so tunnel-visioned that she missed the 2 Impressions. The Citrine had chosen a BOY? Interesting, she thought. She'd have to talk to him later and see how it felt to be Bonded to a dragon of the opposite gender. Turning her attention back to the Azure, she quirked a brow slightly at the insistence on waiting for her White sibling, even down to CLEANING her off! She was impressed by the care and devotion she was showing the little one, and she felt her lips flicker in an ALMOST smile, which she quickly damped down.
Taking a deep breath, she adjusted her vision, watching the two UnImpressed dragons as well as those already Impressed. She was curious, wanted to know MORE, but she was limited in what she could do right now, until all the dragons had Impressed and the Hatching was over. Then she could ask questions to her heart's content...

K’tar watched the eggs hatch. He held his breath as the Black sprang for the little Darkblue, only to be intercepted by the Sunlance. Like many of those around him, he exhaled in relief as the Rainbow Queen broke up this fight before it could escalate. Then came the Impressions. Watching the Impressions of the Black, the Wood, the Darkblue, and the Sunlance, he felt once more an echo of that first burst of love that had filled him upon meeting Viarth’s eyes.
Then came the next Impression. The Neon Purple, to Barlow. K’tar let out a wild cheer. He didn’t even notice the next to Impressions as they occurred, though a few moments later he noticed that both the Sunset and the hazed-Citrine were Impressed as well.
We were both right Viarth, he laughed. You got the Neon part, and I called the Purple.
Barlow observed the dragonets as they moved, trying to track everything on the sands. He was pretty good at it. The Sunlance went and impressed, and he observed the Haze moving around. Suddenly the Neon Purple skidded to a stop right in front of him and he saw rainbow eyes.
Hello B'ow mine! I am your Hailreth! Now then! There is much work to be done and much improving as well. So let us hurry off and get me fed - I am very hungry after all - and then we must get to work and you must start teaching me. A heartbeat passed. He could feel it, the sudden onset of a second mind, a second grouping of emotions. Another heartbeat passed. He had no idea how he was still staring at the bright dragonet. A long pause occurred. The short kid reached out and touched Hailreth’s nose. Uh, Mine? He ran his hand against the dragonet’s head. B’low, we really should be using this time to- He ran his hand under Hailreth’s chin. Hey that tickles! Hailreth backed up and shook, less deterred then he would be normally. Food please? The kid put down his hand. He was still staring.
“Am I asleep?”
Nope! And I still want food.
“I see. You are quite sure?”
FOOOD. Hailreth bumped his head against his rider’s leg. You are B’ow and you are getting me food. Yes?
“Okay.” He was B’ow. His brain was having a hard time getting that to work. He felt different but he felt SO different that it could very well be a dream. Maybe he had finally become so exhausted he had passed out in the middle of the weyrbowl and Kit was trying to wake him. Still he smiled. It was the sort of smile from someone who really didn’t know how, awkward and disbelieving. So he walked slowly. But he was broken out of it when he heard some gasping. He turned his head and looked, Hailreth looking to see what had stopped the walk.
An Azure hatched. All other options were completely wrong. This was an Azure. A female to be precise, Queen egg and all. So that was it. Everyone was going to assume the worst. The legends of Azures were entirely too lacking for him to believe any of it. After all for him no one had really proved that the curse…was… …
“That’s it.” B’ow’s eyes lit up and something clicked inside him. Hailreth was all of a sudden very real and everything about this moment was perfect. He knew exactly what he was going to do. He was well and truly smiling now. “Okay, first we get you food, Hailreth. Then!”
Then?
We are going to prove the Curse of the Azures isn’t real.
L'ras turned on his heel as soon as he heard his rank called, elated by the first question of the day in what he knew would be many more questions to follow. He could see the Azure and its fellows stalk around the Sands, but continued on with his work. He tried not to get too invested in the Hatching - though, Shards, it was probably one of the most interesting ones he had ever attended.
An Azure! Here!
Once he reached Wynah, he smiled at her and nodded to her Sunlance. "Of course, Miss Riverborn. I see you've already done a fine job with feeding. Very good work! And…" he started, looking over his shoulder to the bench where the supplies should be. "Yes, there they are. Let me get the oil and the rags you'll need. Just a moment."
Two more dragons have Impressed - the Sunset to Kaimana and that Haze Citrine to A'radil. It attacked him! Oh, you are missing a good Hatching. Still have that healer on call? Just keep an eye on them and that Queen. I do. The Azure is helping a small White out of its shell. Interesting. Make sure the maulings are kept to a minimum. I will try my best, L'ras, but you know we don't interfere. All the same... Understood.
Envious of what his dragon was watching, but knowing his place was here, L'ras returned to Wynah's side with a pot of oil and various sized cloth strips and set them down beside the new pair. He spoke loud enough so the surrounding Weyrlings could hear as well, if they so desired.
"Now, I am certain your dear Candidate Master has had you practice oiling larger dragons," he announced with a hint of a smile, "but hatchlings are just a bit different. They will be itchy, and will continue to be so through their growth spurts, but remember: their hides do not require as much work or pressure as the older dragons do, so try to be gentle. Take your strips of cloth - or your hands, for that matter, either way works - and run it through the oil. Follow my lead."
He demonstrated with one of the small strips and held it aloft for any viewers. "You want enough oil to get it damp, but not enough to saturate the cloth and have it drip everywhere. You can ignore this if you are using your hands, but it is good to practice with the cloth as well. Now, once you have the oil, rub it along your dragon's hide. This must go everywhere, and I do mean everywhere. Leave no part free of oil. A dragon's hide must be cared for with constant diligence. This will become a crucial step once you are able to practice flying."
He pointed to various parts along the small Sunlance as a demonstration. "Mind yourself around a dragon's eyes and wing membranes. The eyes and wings are where the hide is the most delicate. Because they are still young, enough pressure could bruise the hide. Just take things slow and steady. Begin when you're ready, Weyrlings. I will be around shortly if you need assistance."
L'ras nodded to Wynah and laid the oiled strip over the pot. "Thank you for the demonstration, Miss Riverborn," he replied, his voice quieter now that he had finished explaining the task at hand. "And congratulations on your Impression. What's your Sunlance's name?"

M’brey paused in his chopping of meat into smaller pieces.
Think we’d better watch this, he commented silently. It was, upon reflection, rather like talking to oneself. Certainly Nellielth’s mind felt almost like an extension of his own.
Seconded. As does yours to me.
Boy and dragonet turned to match gazes. M’brey was smiling, and Nellielth, well, she would have smiled, except that dragons didn’t really do that.
Ready?Ready?
A brief shared amusement, that they had asked each other the same question at the same time, and then M’brey went to dip a cloth in the oil, carefully wringing it out so that it wasn’t too damp.
Running the cloth gently over Nellielth’s back — she didn’t want it near her wings — he had to admit that L’ras was right. This was different from oiling the older dragons, who, if anything, complained that the pressure applied was insufficient. It took constant thought to keep from applying more pressure than was needful.
The white looked at her Azure sister and crooned softly before moving off into the crowds, not taking long in finding hers and stopping before him with a soft little croon. Mine... I am your Lizeth. Let's go play and have fun! She rolled over in the sand, waggling her little tail happily. She was certainly playful... and decidedly childish. Oh very very childish.
Orikaeth crooned softly. Only one of her children was still there in the sands. The Azure seemed uncertain of who to choose at that moment, looking from a distance over the candidates before moving to sit in front of her mother for a long time, her mind pressing against those gathered, her eyes whirling as she seemed to look each of them in the face - even the boys. So many of them were so hopeful... though the boys seemed to be a bit less so. But she understood why. She was a queen and a queen simply did not choose a boy. Hmmmm... she was sure there would come a time when no other was suitable and a queenling would choose a male before choosing between. It was only natural to her. But hers was not amongst the males. There was one much better and much stronger amongst the females. Her mind was beautiful and broad and a shining beacon. The queen gently let her mind brush against the girls before she stood, looking back at her mother and exchanging soft words with her. The Rainbow knew what her daugther faced, but she gave her the encouragement. She was a color which was taken as a sign of bad things to come. But Orikaeth could see her as nothing less than teh perfect young queenling that she was.
The Azure and her mother nuzzled each other gently and the Azure moved off, starting at one end of the girls and moving through each of them, giving them each a nod as she moved. She was not aggressive. She was not overly excited. She was not, at this moment, confused. Or she did not seem excited - but she truly was. today was their day and soon her part of the glorious day would be seen. She looked at Harpyr for a moment. She was sorry, but she was not this girl's queen. She looked at the other girls. Nor any of theirs. She kept moving until she stopped before Artemis.
Aretmis. She paused, letting her words carry effective weight. I am Zabrielth. I am your dragoness. Your queen. And this is our Weyr. She paused again and tilted her head. Come... let us join our siblings. We will lead them graciously and kindly. It is the best thing we can do now.
She looked back at her mother who lifted herself on her hind legs and spread her wings, bugling at the top of her lungs in triumph.
Thank you all for coming! Candidates! Thank you for standing before my clutch! It has been a glorious morning! One of celebration! Welcome all of the young ones into the world! Riders! Weyrlingmaster! Welcome the young Weyrlings to our Weyr! Let us raise them in the glory and tradition of the Weyr!
She settled again. It was the end. Each of her children was Impressed and off the sands now. She crooned softly. Yes. It was a good day. She looked to the side where Retny was preparing to help the Azure queenling and the newest Queen Rider at Rainbow Mists Weyr. yes. It was their time to shine.
Egg #4
Name: Zabrielth Pronunciation: zay-bree-elth Color: Azure (f) (DCFAFF) Size: 40 feet Personality: Zabrielth is nothing if not loyal - to a fault. She looks on those she is to lead and watch over with a big heart full of caring. She isn't as interested in her own status as that of those around her. Especially her rider. She wishes to see them happy and their lives improved. Now, this is not to say that she is completely unselfish. Zabrielth wants this as much for herself as anyone else. She has quite the temper on her and a short fuse to match. Her tantrums may be frequent, but she rarely dwells on them for longer than it takes for her to vent what made her upset in the first place. She is generally a calm personality with a streak for vengeance that will leave you gasping for breath. She won't stand by and watch her "subordinates" or even her betters be hurt. She is quick to lose her temper in such situations and quick to exact punishment - sometimes rushing into it before actually thinking it through. Her rider will often have to rein her in and be the more levelheaded of the two. Zabrielth is a passionate personality - she loves passionately, she hates passionately, and she does everything with a zeal and passion that would exhaust just about anyone. Impresses to: Artemis
Egg #8
Name: Lizeth Pronunciation: Lee-zeth Color: White (f) (FFFAFA) Size: 14 feet Personality: Lizeth is almost unbearably sweet and childlike. She has no desire other than to play and make hers happy. She is the small child that needs coddling and to be taken care off much of the time, but her little tidbits of wisdom and childlike faith are truly inspiring. She has a hard time taking anything seriously and will often look to others for guidance. Impresses to: Adoptable
Harpyr was silent as she watched the Azure hesitate, looking to her mother. However, she soon moved towards the girls, and Harpyr watched her silently, stoicly, refusing to let her emotions through her facade. As the Azure stopped before her, she met her gaze, almost seeming to SEE her apology in her gaze. Without a word, the girl turned and strode off the Sands, knowing. She didn't have to be told, and she didn't stop until she was back in her room, staring out the window. She felt it again, and a shadow shimmered on the edge of her vision.
"Please leave me alone," she murmured, and the shimmer faded into nothingness, which surprised her. Usually her mother's shade didn't leave when asked. It was if she KNEW her daughter NEEDED to be left alone, to soak up everything that had happened and let herself go over everything she might have done wrong...
