It's alright to be little bitty.
Little home town or a big old city.
Might as well share, might as well smile.
Life goes on for a little-bitty while.

RMW, 75.13.22 late evening
Kokoro had noticed the signs, but hadn't particularly paid them any attention. Angeth was a White, and they didn't usually Rise, did they? But with Angeth being the only White in the Weyr, it was hard to have anything to judge her against. And a male White wouldn't be the same anyway. But that night, Angeth's hide was glowing like the moon. And so, rather than go out to pass the time, Kokoro decided to play it safe in her weyr. And good thing too.
Kokoro had only been reading for half a candlemark when the White launched herself off the ledge, into the center of the herdbeasts. She landed on a little one, half-grown, and put her head to the beast.
Blood it! Kokoro told the White sternly, putting her reading down and moving to the window. Angeth snarled, but did as she was told after a short while. She didn't even finish blooding the beast before she lifted her head to the sky, issuing a roar of challenge that was startling even for the rider. How was such a small dragon able to make such a loud noise?
Well, the answer came quickly with the rush of Flightlust that suddenly hit Kokoro, almost as if she'd run into a stone wall. She put a hand over her face; she hadn't been expecting that. She stumbled around to the bed and sat on the furs. Oh, this did not bode well. Every single male dragon, no, EVERY dragon was larger than Angeth. Even though it didn't matter on a normal day, it did this time. Angeth was Rising. And some of the largest male dragons were here this night. Kokoro hoped in her heart that nothing would happen to the dragon that, when compared to the rest, was tiny.
Because something ALWAYS happened. Metanath had been lost after Angeth's Clutchsister had Risen, lost due to a fight... Oh Faranth, please don't let Angeth get hurt... Kokoro prayed while she waited for the riders of the Chasing dragons to show up.
