The Brick was addressed by Shakti, but no words did it impart. A very soft rumble could be barely heard over the omnipresent humming for a brief moment though. Then she moved on, going to take a look at Lena. Though both she and the Gray next to her looked up when the Citrine started to make noise.
The Citrine was making noise that might have been a song if it wasn’t positively out of tune, directed at one of the other candidates. After a moment, satisfied, she went ahead and bit the same candidate, giving them a lick before her eyes going rainbow. It was... certainly different, but the pair went to get some food same as everyone else. And probably a bandage for the new rider.
The Crimson-Black didn’t look up. He was going through the male candidates. Obviously he was unhappy. One of the candidates got a little too close to him and he gave them a quick cut on their leg for their trouble. He eventually stopped in front of Shaikar, and appeared to be giving the male candidate some intense scrutiny.
At the eggs, the two eggs that had been around the middle egg suddenly moved. Not only that, but the moved at the same moment, in the same direction. Then again, each creating a near identical web of cracks in their shell. Finally once more, each burst from their shells at the same moment, even if what appeared were strikingly different. From the larger, a Moonlight, dark hide full of yellow whisps that seemed to spiral off of him in a most attractive display. From the smaller, a Dream, full of cool blues and a whirling of calm grays with just a dusting of sparkling silver. They cleared themselves of egg shells and then started off together, the Moonlight strutting forward, whereas the dream moved somewhat erratically. Despite their different sizes and curious ways of moving, both moved at identical rates, and both headed toward the largest egg.
The largest egg, still unblemished with even the smallest crack, stopped moving once the two brothers arrived. The Dream turned to the Moonlight, before motioning with his head. The Moonlight considered the egg gravely, before purposefully putting one claw on the egg. The Dream then did the same, and the brothers turned to each other. By some agreement, they raised their claws and hit the large egg, only once. The pair looked carefully at the egg, and then they both went toward the female candidates, leaving the largest egg with one crack in it. The egg, once the Moonlight and Dream had gone on their way, began to move in earnest. It seemed to vibrate with energy, and the crack in it began to lengthen. A tiny crack began to form below the first, and the egg’s energy grew even more, though the cracks were very slow to join. But they did so. Then, with a final push, the crack gave, and a bit of the egg, still partially stuck to its egg, gave way for a White dragonet’s head. The dragonet looked tired, but started to move even more earnestly, wiggling forward. The opening was too small to let him out, but he put a claw on it and pushed with great effort. The egg gave a little bit, but it was clear the egg would snap closed again if he moved. But he remained where he was. From behind him, another White wriggled, slipping through the opening her brother had made. She grabbed from the outside and pulled all the more, to create a more advantageous position for her brother. He moved, a little more relaxed, but still keeping the egg open. From inside, the tiniest White with a great effort made it out of the egg, followed by his larger brother. The egg, still mostly whole, rolled away from the triplets, who flopped on the sands, exhausted. The smallest crooned to his siblings, nosing them a little in the wake of their efforts.
The Midnight, having remained in observation long enough, walked forward. He stopped when with a burst of energy, a Darkblue dragoness spilled onto the sands. She looked up at the Midnight and scrambled back to get out of his way, looking abashed. He went forward, continuing his beeline toward the male candidates. The Darkblue waited until he was well on his way, starting as he left. Then with a rush, she forced herself to the candidates, stopping before quiet getting there. Oh dear.
The Midnight, now without interruption, went to Mestarian and sat down in front of him. [smear:#003050]I am Hearth.[/smear:040b15] It was a simple statement. However, to the Midnight it meant a lot. After all, it was the first thing he had ever let a human know about him. That was important.
The Gray looked up at Briselle, who waved at him and wished him good luck. Tilted his head slightly before putting out his claw, gently patting the candidate’s leg. He was very restrained, so the pat was very light. He then nodded to Briselle before going to look at Lena, which he only did for a moment, before moving around the Brick and then methodically going down the line. His next extended stop was with Sharikar, Who he stopped to take a better look at.

Crawth looked back at Zephoth when addressed, starting to adjust to only having one eye open. It whirled with displeasure though. No. I’m still mad at you for stealing the one I had my eye on. At least it was you and not him. The dragonet huffed. Bye. With no more ado, Crawth went to go get food, even as some dragon healers started to materialize. He was in no mood to socialize at the moment.

Name: Gypserith (jip-sear-rith)
Color: Citrine # efee7c
Personality: This dragoness lives in the moment, and does what feels right. She doesn’t often think deeply about her actions, which means that she can act faster than almost anyone else. It makes her extraordinarily adaptable, but she can easily make mistakes for her lack of thought. That’s okay though, she can easily move on from them, and select the correct choice next time.
Adult Length: 18.5 feet
Impresses: ADOPTABLE
Name: Hearth (harth)
Color: Midnight # 003050 #040b15
Personality: This Midnight is very quiet. He notices everything, but is loath to share his opinion with all but his closest confidants. Even opening up to his rider will take time, though Hearth will remain true to them forever. At his core, Hearth is a philosopher. Not content with the small picture he thinks about the big ideas, but will find it hard to settle on anything. He will need a good sounding board; otherwise he will try to play devil’s advocate with himself constantly.
Adult Length: 37 feet
Special: Hearth is significantly larger than most Midnight dragons, being squarely Bronze sized.
Impresses: Mestarian
