Terayne - if you want to have Xerecalth be a part of this awesome plot, go ahead. She'd be one of the older Silverlights and shed some more point of view diversity on the whole thing.
@lark - Yay weyrlings. I think A'mir is who you were talking about but if you want to have an Aurora too please be my guest.
*is thinking* How far in the future are we again? (I'm so bad with Turns.) Because I might be able to drag back an old character. If not, I'm more than happy to make a new one. Ehehehehehehehe. Hehe. Heeeee. Yeah...
Thanks, Sim! Since we're only 50 Turns in the future, Nickta and Liakyrith would only be 66. Seeing as Lia's half Silver, half Gold - oh, I love that girl - her faulty wings probably wouldn't have allowed her to do much fighting in the Weyr War, so she'd still probably be alive and fine. I can definitley see her relocating to ISW after her cousin died in the war just for a change of scenery and to see if she can help, so she might take the attack on a dragon that's 'different' to heart. Also, she's wiser and not exactly stupid, so she could definitely help solve puzzles an things. And Liakyrith is just fun to write.
It's especially possible to take someone captive if they take the rider and threaten the dragon with hurting the rider, or "hurting" whichever you like. Few dragons would take the risk, that's probably what I'll do with A'mir and Sayurith. How old would they be since the capturing and whatnot started with them? Also, Sayurith was originally going to be an Aurora but then you said it'd be okay to make her a Silverlight and I just ran with it.
I updated Nickta's bio in case you guys want to use her here somehow. I dunno how. I'm bad at plots. Hence why I will never finish a novel. But here ya go.
I was under the impression that the captors were going to take both A'mir and Saruyith, correct?
But for Lia, they could kidnap Nickta. Perhaps as a parleying token, since while her Queen is different, the main/one of the main issues these people have (which seems to have quickly gained the term "Unnatural Queen") is those QueenRiders whose Riders are male, not necessarily (as far as my understanding goes) Queens that are in themselves unusual. Certainly they could have multiple angles and issues, I'm just thinking out loud.
