Plot--Ice Stone Weyr/Icy Caverns Hold

Okay...so because I'm weird and like timelines....this is sort of what I understand....

• There is someone/a few someones who are against the Unnatural Dragons/Kings/Queens
  
• They start plotting and causing trouble *maybe squabbles, etc*
  
• People grow up hearing this and forming their own opinions *A'mir for instance is for the mixed-paired Kings and Queens*
  
• Something happens, something that people can use as a scapegoat and blame the Unnatural Dragons for...even if it is entirely unfeasible for it to be their fault *there normally has to be some sort of turning point*
  
• The above is around the time that A'mir impresses and he and others start to gather people to help fight FOR the Unnatural Dragons
  
• More squabbles ensue between the two groups
  
• Some of A'mir's group along with the Against Group *we need names for these groups really the For and Against side* start to capture riders/handler of the Unnatural Colors *if you want to include Handlers in this*
  
• Eventually RMW hears about this?

The last one is where I'm getting confused. I understand most of the back-story that is involved for making the characters, but not where we're picking it up in roleplay...any ideas on that?

Also, for those that are making Weyrlings like I did...how old are they? Presumably young enough to still be captured and confused, but how much so...and I was thinking the following list might be possible people that could be captured...

• The Unnatural Kings and Queens
  
• Any riders For the Unnatural Pairs....*maybe they were trying to plot against the Against group and were captured because of that?*
  
• Maybe the weyrlings that have been born recently *or at least some of them* from Unnatural King/Queen clutches?

Almost like they want rid of any and/or all of the gene pool that could hold the Unnatural DNA.

Here's my interpretation of all this:

- [PRE-RP time] Persons A, B, C have problems with the Unnatural pairings.
- [PRE-RP time] Persons A, B, C fantasize notions of getting rid of them; individually cause problems. (Bar fights, etc.)
- [PRE-RP time] Ideology about Unnatural pairings begins spreading; some people think it's wrong in an offhanded kind of way, some don't care.
- [PRE-RP time] Persons A, B, C hear about others having problems with Unnatural pairings, seek out others.
- Persons A, B, C meet and begin planning ways to get rid of the Unnatural pairings.
- Sometime along this time more Unnatural pairings come into play. (A'mir, etc.)
- Death of a small child from falling, something, in one of the nearby areas; Persons A, B, C blame an Unnatural pairing for not reacting quickly enough; perpetrate ideology that it's not only unnatural, but evil.
- Weyr begins defending Unnatural dragons; A'mir begins trying to form a defense group.
- Persons A, B, C begin making demands; kidnap several people (Weyrling pair; Nickta; other random person?)
- A'mir begins 'kidnapping' Unnatural pairs to keep them safe.
- Negotiations ensue; people try to escape; fights, etc.
- How ends?

Also, for those that are making Weyrlings like I did...how old are they? Presumably young enough to still be captured and confused, but how much so...and I was thinking the following list might be possible people that could be captured...
- The Unnatural Kings and Queens

You're not going to be able to capture full grown dragons, even if you get the Riders, and even then, the chances of that are slim to none. It would be better to capture people from the following list and put the pressure on the unnatural pairings to 'hand themselves over', so to speak.

- Weyrlings from Unnatural pairings
- Older DragonRiders (alla Nickta) who can't really defend themselves and support the Unnatural pairings
- One or two Unnatural riders, maybe - no more or it wouldn't work. They'd have what they need! (Kill the Rider, kill the dragon, after all.)

Also, the only thing is if A'mir starts to "kidnap" weyrlings and others to help them actually...he'd have to not be captured himself. I was thinking maybe they could start to band together when captive then work on gathering people once they were free. Them being Nickta, A'mir and whoever else they capture...and they still need a name, as do the Persons A, B, and C...or A and B. >.<

I am quite happy to bring back S'lieze and Xerecalth, but I'll need to try and relocate his bio. It's been quite a long time since I used them after all. I don't remember the entire story behind him. -sighs- So his bio probably won't be exact, of course. And adjusted for age.

As for adding in my two cents, I'm not entirely sure. I do like what I'm hearing so far.

Maybe after they break free, some of the "Unnatural Pairs" don't listen to them about needing to protect themselves, and so to keep those people safe, A'mir and Co. have to kidnap them.

Also, someone mentioned wanting a name for the people doing "this". I had an antagonist made up at one point, so if anyone wants, I could post the bio for everyone to look at.

That sounds lovely and Kaya gave me the okay to make a thread to start it off, her suggestion was sometime when A'mir and the others are being taken and hidden away. Anyone have any ideas about that; how to start or maybe further clarification as to what can happen?

You'd need:
1. A situation in which they can be abducted successfully
2. People to either see some of it happen so there is some clue(s) or people to notice he's missing
3. A general uproar somewhere because those are lots of fun eh hee

Okay so...

1) Them going to a super secret hiding place?
2a) Maybe someone sees, or Keira *since she's a part of them but is really on A'mir and the others' side* can go tell the Weyrwoman?
2b) Also I had an idea that the RMW weyrling class might be learning to communicate over distances with other Weyrs and that they're using Sayurith since she's around the same age, and she tells them then.

This Plot is now rolling. A'mir was forced to give away the location of the Weyr's weapons in Rattling the Chains, but due to good fortune (or bad, depends on your point of view) the men led by Tibby (I would not suggest calling him that IC ) failed to obtain them. A'mir has now broken out of his cell with a stolen key, only to meet up with a rescue party. However, they are not clear of the tunnels yet. Come join in the fun in Breaking Free.
