Stealing Shoki's clever little form so that I have a better idea of what to pair everybody up with! It should be noted that I LOVE maulings (and am bitter my characters have never been truly mauled, though Artemis had her arm scratched up) so please specify if you would like a character mauled and what the limitations for that are.
Candidate name (include link to bio): Preferred colors: Reasoning for colors: Mauling (yes / no / limitations): Prompt: A Candidate falls to the ground, mauled, in front of your character. How do they react?
Candidate name (include link to bio): Kyton Dibriell Preferred colors: Black, or really any female dragon Reasoning for colors: I feel like pairing him with a Black would be quite an interesting combination, as it would probably bring him actual confidence, however I am quite willing to work with anything. Mauling (yes / no / limitations): Sure, as long as it's non-lethal and any permanent scarring is not near his face. Prompt: A Candidate falls to the ground, mauled, in front of your character. How do they react?
Kyton jolted backwards as the Candidate fell in front of him, paling as he looked down onto the mauled form. He clenched his shaking hands into fists in an attempt to stop them from shaking. Do not show weakness. Now is not the time for everyone to learn that you are not what you appear to be. Kyton scolded himself, forcing his eyes away from the form of the Candidate, instead fixing on the dragonet that had caused the injury. He felt himself calm, this he could deal with. The dragonet was beautiful, like most dragons were; I just have to focus on the dragonets. He exhaled a calming breath, moving his gaze back to the eggs, shoving down the rest of the fear that had sprung up. He could deal with the fear later if it still persisted, but he was here to become a dragon rider. Kyton took a deep breath, raising his head to look confidently out of the eggs. He would simply focus on the fact that he was here to fulfill his deepest yearning, instead of focusing on the form at his feet and he would be just fine.
Candidate name (include link to bio): Richet Falkincall Preferred colors: None. As in no dragon. I wouldn't mind getting one but I'm leaning towards "not Impressing." Reasoning for colors: I personally don't know if I've been active enough to justify Impressing anything at this point, so I think I'd prefer if she get left Standing for this Hatching, especially since her development level isn't quite as far along as I'd like. I will be having her at the clutch regardless. Mauling (yes / no / limitations): Nothing lethal. She's got a bit of plot armor, but only a bit. I'm down for mauling though. Scarring is also okay. Prompt: A Candidate falls to the ground, mauled, in front of your character. How do they react?

Blood.
That's not a bird bite. Those talons are massive in comparison to Falvor's, and she's shaking a bit as she gazes at the blood pooling on the sand.
There's so much.
She's never had a fear of dragons before now, but as she gazes at the small beast that just ran over the other Candidate and at the new rider now embracing it like it hasn't just killed someone... Richet feels her bile rise and her eyes start to sting.
The smell of iron fills her nostrils, making her head spin. She needs air. No. She needs out. This entire plan is insane. She doesn't want to be here, she doesn't want to be a dragon rider-- and what if she's next? Eyes wide, limbs trembling, Richet stares at the remaining dragons and finds she cannot move.
Currently Playing: - Richet Falkincall, 21, dragon candidate, Falvor the shoulder-bird
